Pastor Annie Lankford is a provisional elder in the United Methodist Church. She graduated summa cum laude from Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO. in 2022. Prior to her appointment as the Senior Pastor at Farmington United Methodist Church, she served as Pastor at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Lonoke, AR and as Associate Pastor of North Little Rock First United Methodist Church in North Little Rock, AR. Pastor Annie is a 4th generation United Methodist Pastor. She graduated from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL in 1997 and has practiced law in Arkansas since that time, working with small businesses and individuals in the areas of estate planning and employment issues. Pastor Annie has been active in Rotary, where she received Rotarian of the Year in 2019 and has also been named one of the Women to Watch by Soiree Magazine and 40 Under 40 by Arkansas Business, among other awards. In 2022, she was awarded the United Women in Faith Special Mission Recognition for her work with women, children and youth. Pastor Annie's favorite Quote is: "Have courage and be kind. For where there is kindness, there is goodness, and where there is goodness, there is magic" - Cinderella. She is married to Jack and together they have Beth, Jackson, Mary Margaret, Sam, and Cate. They also have an assortment of animals that the couldn’t imagine life without.
Rich was born in Branson, Mo and raised in Ft. Smith. His grandfather was a Methodist Minister. He is married to Kristen with 4 boys (Jackson, Brayden, Riley and Garrett).
He was a trauma nurse for 30 years, and now works from home for the Veterans Administration. He graduated from UAFS (Assoc Degree in Nursing),
WGU (Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master’s of Science in Nursing Education) and
studied Music Ministry for 1 year at OBU.
Rich plays Bass Guitar for the The Rachel B Band. He also loves to travel and cook and everything baseball.
Melanie Barnes, Director of Children’s Ministry, is a CPA-turned-stay-at-home-mom who has been active in the United Methodist church her whole life. Her family has been attending FUMC since 2013 and she has been in charge of our children’s ministry since the fall of 2016.
She and her husband Daniel have 3 children, Elizabeth (age 12), Joshua (age 9), and Benjamin (age 7). She loves children and considers it a privilege to teach them about God’s great love for them! Proverbs 22:6, Jeremiah 29:11
Nikki grew up in Farmington United Methodist. As our Nursery Coordinator, Nikki combines her love of God and love for children each Sunday.
