Senior Pastor Alyssa Kuebler
Pastor Alyssa joined Farmington UMC as Senior Pastor in July 2024. She and her husband Drew are natives of central Arkansas and alumni of Arkansas State University. Pastor Alyssa received her Masters of Divinity degree from Boston University School of Theology.
She has a deep passion for engaging families and young people, a heart for connecting to the
community, and great excitement to proclaim in word and deed the gospel message in Farmington, AR.
She loves getting outside with her husband and their dogs, trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Director of Children's Ministries Melanie Barnes
Melanie is a CPA-turned-stay-at-home-mom who has been active in the United Methodist church her whole life.
Her family has been attending FUMC since 2013 and she has been in charge of our children’s ministry since the fall of 2016.
She and her husband Daniel have three children, Elizabeth, Joshua, and Benjamin. She loves children and considers it a privilege to teach them about God’s great love for them! Proverbs 22:6, Jeremiah 29:11
Director of Youth Ministries Brady Harlan
Brady is an avid biker, adrenaline junkie, and artist who loves to worship God through these activities. He grew up in the Church and in youth and has a passion for youth ministries.
Praise Band Leader Rich Hightower
Rich was born in Branson, Mo. Raised in Ft. Smith. Grandfather was a Methodist Minister (Rev William C. Hightower). He is married to Kristen with 4 boys (Jackson, Brayden, Riley and Garrett) and has been a trauma nurse for 30 years.. He now works from home for the Veterans Administration. Rich graduated from UAFS (Assoc Degree in Nursing)
WGU (Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master’s of Science in Nursing Education) and studied Music Ministry for 1 year at OBU.
He loves to travel and cook and everything baseball.
Rich also plays Bass Guitar for a local band.
Administrative Assistant Cassie Harris
Cassie grew up in Fayetteville and married a Farmington native in 2006. She and Andy have two children, Ella and Elijah, who attend Farmington schools.
Cassie has attended Farmington UMC with her family since 2019, serving as Sunday School teacher, volunteer Treasurer, and became a member in March of 2022.
She joined the church staff that August as the office admin. Cassie holds office hours at the church Monday - Thursday, and also serves as Volunteer Coordinator.
Nursery Teacher Nikki Harlow
Nikki grew up in Farmington United Methodist and now attends with her husband and two young children.
As our Nursery Coordinator, Nikki combines her love of God and love for children each Sunday and Wednesday night.
